It's The Little Things That Count (S1-E1)

Luke and Laura have been dating for sometime now, and things are starting to get very serious, very fast. Luke spends many nights durning his work week with Laura at the apartment she shares with Penelope. The two have talked about moving in together, but both now it is a big, huge commitment since their whirlwind romance only started a few months ago. The couple has been hot and heavy from the the very first day they met, and neither one wants to slow things down.

They are determined to spend every waking moment that they are not at work, in each others arms. Laura's apartment is not the most ideal place, but it is better than the place Luke is currently living with multiple male roommates. It was the best he could do at the time after moving here on such short notice, plus he wanted to focus as much money as he could into his business.

He was blindsided by Laura on their first date, he never expected for things to ignite so fast. When he moved to New Orleans a year ago, all he wanted to do was focus on getting the record shop up and running, but he is definitely enjoying spending his nights with Laura now. He's done the whole roommate thing for years anyways, especially when on the road with a rock band that is currently on tour. Settling down is kinda sounding real nice now right now, and Laura is someone he can see that happening with in the  future, the very near future actually...

Laura pushes him back down onto the bed as the two get tangled up in hair pulling and kissing for tonight's sleepover. Laura pauses to speak too eager about the thought of moving in together. "I found some places for rent earlier…" Luke on the other hand does wonder if it is too soon in the relationship to move to this next level of commitment. Laura though is thrilled about all of it, and has already started scoping out the for rent properties in the area.

"Uh huh..." Luke mutters not at all interested in talking about rental properties at the moment, he grabs her bare naked ass pulling her in closer to him as the two continue to kiss. Tonight she was naked and waiting for him to show up, Laura clearly cannot get enough of him either.

"I want you now...", Laura insists her voice coming out in a heated whisper. Luke has not had the chance to completely undress, and she is already aching for his body to become one with hers. The thought of it is like a drug to her, her body yearns for that magnetic jolt it feels when he is close, or when he touches her, or when he is inside her. Luke grabs her waist, and flips their positions feeling the exact same way about that electrified feeling. Laura lets him takeover, and take charge of the love making as she watches his gaze over her darkens.

A short time later they lay in bed both completely naked as they catch their breath after a wild, frenzied moment of love making. The two begin to talk to each other about their day, and Luke realizes that he loves all these little moments with her. He does not want them to end."So I think Penelope is dating that Benjamin guy...it's been over a month now…” , says Laura.

"The one that's best friends with Aric?", Luke asks.

"Yes, him…Isolde told me they went out a few times, but didn't have much in common.  Said he’s super rich that his daddy owns a big construction company here in town, and is known around the bar for being a jackass.

"Yeah, I've bumped into him numerous times while having dinner there, but I didn't know Isolde dated him. Shit when was this?”

"It was back in April I think that's what she said..." Laura responds. "I don't like the guy but Penelope is convinced he's the one for her."

"I'm sure she is saying the same fucking thing about me." Luke spits out. He doesn't like Penelope either, and it's one more reason for them to find a place of their own.

"She can say all she wants it won't change my mind on how I feel about you...Who knows maybe those two are meant for each other." Laura smiles up at him. As the mood shifts again from a light banter to a flirtatious smile. Laura knows what she wants. She is not afraid to say it. She is sweet and endearing, yet bold and fierce all rolled into one tiny package. This is something Luke knows very strongly he loves about her, yet there is still so much the two have to learn about one another...

"I think I have some time after work tomorrow if you want to go check out these places you found."

"Really?!" Laura exclaims, running her fingertips down the length of his rock hard abdomen. "I thought you wanted to wait until renovations were done in your record store?" Her hand settles down low, cupping him gently as the two continue to talk.

"Yeah, I do but I think we if start looking now that gives us time to find something we both really love, cause we might not find one we like right away. You know how it goes.", Luke adds as his hand caresses her backside.

Laura smiles up at him with her head nestled into his shoulder and nods in agreement, "True. Well there is one I found that could be perfect if it is still available. Lemme go get my laptop, so I can show you."

Luke stops her from getting up off the bed, and kisses her on the forehead, "How about for now I show you how much I fucking love you instead." He says smoothly, as he places her soft warm hand back where it was, her fingers curling around his length. He can instantly feel that buzz of energy fueling his need to fill her up again.

He then softly kisses her nose and moves to her mouth as the two get caught up in love making again. At this rate these two lovebirds might not get much done if they don't get some sleep. But when you're in love time almost stands still, and those moments in each others arms is all you need.
